How often does Geo-Blue update their “hot zone list”?? I’m traveling to Israel and I find it ridiculous to put it in a list with those seriously problematic locations. I know several people here who have coverage; why can’t I purchase a plan?

    1. Good Morning Josh… The short answer to your questions is that some U.S. based insurers such as GeoBlue considers Israel a Hot Spot – meaning they will not insure someone who intends to actually live within the boarders of that country. Even though Israel is one of the safest countries in that part of the world.

However I can help you if you are moving to Israel and you need a comprehensive International Plan through Cigna Global with NO restrictions. Cigna does not list Israel as a Hot Spot. If you would like help with this please reach out to me at “”. I am an specialist in only the International Markets – I am hear to help.
